PowerPoint

We had to create a PowerPoint for this weeks tools and I thought this would be the easiest of all of them, but turns out I was wrong, mainly because I have only ever used PowerPoint for it's basic functions.  I kind off had trouble getting my sound and video on there.  My video and audio were both recorded on Apple devices which meant I had a lot of trouble getting the Video from my brothers iPad on to my windows laptop.   I had no trouble emailing my voice recordings from my iPod but it wouldn't let me send the video from the iPad as the attachment was too large, and I couldn't open the iPad on my computer for some reason.  Eventually my sister told me to use drop box which I did and it worked fine.  Of course then PowerPoint wouldn't let me use either because they were saved under Apple files.  This was easy enough to fix as I just recorded from the PowerPoint my recording from my iPod and opened the video in Windows Movie Maker and saved it.  I thought my problems were solved until I realised I didn't know how to upload my PowerPoint to my Blog.  I tried to search Google for the solution and it told me to use PowerPoint online however my videos wouldn't play.  I realised I could just put it on my Weebly, however, the file was too large for this.  My sister then told me that I could use Dropbox again, download it and then get a link to it, however when I tried to open it the same thing happened, my video and audio wouldn't play.  I then thought if I saved the video to a smaller size (the quality is not very good) I could upload the PowerPoint to my Weebly so that is what I have done.  If you click the E-Learning Place Value PowerPoint Document on my Managing E-Learning page you should be able to open my PowerPoint.  I have still put the Dopbox link below so that anyone can see it without the sound and video without having to download it from my Weebly.
